DBSK not performing @ dream concert

Korean Entertainment Producers Association released an official statement on 11th September about group Dong Bang Shin Ki’s current ongoing lawsuit and their appearance for 2009 Dream Concert.

And it seems that Dong Bang Shin Ki may just not be appearing for Dream Concert this year.

1. Thank you for showing much interest towards 2009 DREAM Concert.
2. Korean Entertainment Producers Association will become organizer of 2009 DREAM Concert.
As was reported in Japan, TVXQ lawsuit has already been gathering a lot of attention. About this unforeseen incident, Korean Entertainment Producers Association and SM Entertainment has been having discussions in regard to former performers matter, and currently meet in the decision that under present condition, starring TVXQ in the concert is very difficult, therefore for everyone who is looking forward to TVXQ performance, we’re really sorry and sincerely apologize.
3. However, the possibility of their performance still depends upon the trial result of Korean Court. By that time, we’ll officially announce the decision yet again.
Because the 2009 DREAM concert is Korean biggest concert, we would like you to enjoy the stage of splendid artists whom Korea is proud of at Sangnam World Cup Stadium, South Korea.
4. As an addition, we’d like to inform you that BIG BANG will perform with no problem.
5. We’re so pleased with everyone who had been working hard to prepare for DREAM Concert, thank you very much.

Also, fans recently posted up an ad about Dong Bang Shin Ki on Korean newspaper titled ‘They are not monkeys’

TVXQ’s Fans’ Newspaper Ad: “They are NOT Monkeys”
After the last ad published on August 20th, the other ad from TVXQ fans appeared again at one page of Hankyoreh newspaper on September 10th.
In the ad published, a phrase “They (TVXQ) are not monkeys” written describing the legal provision of exclusive contract assigned by part of TVXQ members.
The claims in the ad; “Do not lift to know” “Do not claim” “Do not expect an answer” are written along with the drawing picture of monkey tied up with a rope. Next to the bottom part, “Dong Bang Shin Ki is a person who has individual rights and decisive power.” is written to finish the ad.

Meanwhile, all necessary documents for the lawsuit between the 3 Dong Bang Shin Ki members and SM Entertainment has been handed in, and the hearing has ended. The courts will be reading all documents and will come to a decision about the case.
